This blog is strictly for the purpose of encouraging and helping other young ladies who may feel like a failure for starting something and in result did not go as planned. On your journey, you are allowed to receive from Jesus Christ as you hear him doesn’t matter how it makes other people feel as well as start over.
I am putting a HUGE stop on blogging for now and who knows what the future will carry. I may or not pick this back up, but I’m willing to open up and share with you WHY I decided peacefully within my heart to no longer blog after a whole year and some months.
I started blogging April of 2018, I originally launched it from the website called Wix.com TRY IT if you are a new blogger and need something beginner friendly. It was enjoyable until I wanted a new layout. See, Wix is a great tool to use if you are a rookie, but do your own research and find out its pro’s and cons when you choose a layout you cannot change it unless you get an entire new look which can be frustrating if you are creative like me. Fast forward, I switched over to Weebly which became my favorite, if you scroll down my blog page you will notice it says November 2018 instead of April (Nancy F Blog) I LOVE writing so much it’s truly a part of who I am. In real life you can catch me 90% of the time sitting down somewhere with a journal and a pen on my lap jotting down ideas, revelation from Jesus & planning.
Fun facts about Wix and Weebly
Wix is free!
Weebly is free!
Offers yearly plan for both
Nancy if you love it so much why are you stopping?!
When the Lord revealed my purpose back in 2014, 2016 and 2017 blogging was a part of it, not the whole thing. These days, I visualize being pushed in a different direction and I'm at ease with it. Yes, the results of blogging were not all the best for my upcoming brand, but I learned a lot. The messages I received from teen girls and young women expressing how I helped them and challenge their way of thinking was amazing! I am deeply grateful.
At first, I felt like a total flop. I was promoting my blog because truthfully I had something to say that I believe the world needed to hear especially my targeted audience; curious to know who they are ? Follow my Instagram page www.instagram.com/nancyfleuridor. Self promoting made me super proud because If I didn't believe in me who will? I planned accordingly, sent newsletters after messing up 100 X 100 times and oh how I desired to throw my purple laptop across the wall on numerous occasions at 2AM in my room figuring it all out. Frustration level was intense. The amount of tabs opened on my search engine was bananas, but honestly sis nothing beats research than actually putting in the work over and over again until it looks right. The whole point of doing research is to apply what you are learning. The big F word (failure) was louder than Popeye's free advertisement on social media. I could not deny the tugging in my belly. With prayer and Holy Spirit bringing back into remembrance many things, it was assuring to know failure is actually a staircase for me. It produced resilience, endurance, laughter and the ability to be honest with myself and grow from what did not work out. Nonetheless, the prince of peace Jesus the Lord God almighty granted my very need. A peace that surpasses all understanding and guided my heart and mind in him.
In conclusion, I am throwing the ball back at you. What will you do when the thing you expected to work and do great in doesn’t? Will you run and hide? Be in denial? Can you go back to the drawing board and trust God for the new thing? Don’t be discourage, failure is necessary for where you are going. If you sense Jesus leading you in a new direction in your life FOLLOW HIM he is in Heaven you and I are on Earth there’s no telling where he will bring you when you trust and obey. Thank you for your genuine support towards me. May goodness and mercy follow you all the days of your life.
